"You've not been back an hour and you already remember enough to want to wander this world with me?" She would have looked over and smiled, but she wasn't quite done hugging him just yet.

"I guess you remembered all the really fun parts really quickly."

Finally drawing back enough to grin at him she shook her head, her cheeks flushing.

"So, then. You don't want to be just friends now?"

"Five months is a long time, even if it was only about ten minutes." She was never going to be used to that. Even seeing for herself how five months had changed Eleven didn't make it sit right in her brain.

"Not remembering me for that long might mean your feelings are different now."

Unable to stop herself, Lily made a face when Eleven mentioned finding love in Erdrea, though the scowl had died down by the time he touched her hair.

"Rather relieved neither of those things happened, especially the first part." Biting her bottom lip she watched him thoughtfully before ducking her head to kiss his cheek. "As new lives go, I'm afraid you'll find it very similar to the old, but you're right. I didn't think you'd be back. Not in ten minutes or ten years. I thought that was the end."

"You left for the right reasons, even if it hurt to let you go."

Tightening her arms around him she pulled him close for another hug, resting her cheek against his. "I want a cup of tea," she muttered tiredly before kissing his temple.
