[ As for Catra, she too eats her millet without complaint. It seems un-poisoned and perfectly serviceable as sustenance, so, having grown up on fairly tasteless ration bars herself, she sees no reason not to. Not to mention she's hungry.

But when some high-pitched voice not far from her outright gushes at the food, she looks up.

For a moment, she stares. By Hordak, the girl is pink. And cheerful. And her hair is poofy. ]

What, are you some kind of princess or something?

[pinkxeno]

[ Mina has her mouth full of millet and ready to shove in another spoonful, when she hears Catra. To others, the way Catra looks might be unusual - not to Mina. Her world is full of people who look so different from each other, to the point it doesn't matter how someone looks at all.

So when she looks back at Catra, she doesn't even blink ]

What, no way! [ Mina has a friend who is rich, and she is absolutely a very cute princess, but Mina would never be like that. First of all, she isn't rich ] Do I look cute like one?! [ she grins wide ]

You sound annoying like one.

[ Yeah, sorry. Catra is not too hot on princesses. A bit prejudiced against them, even.

Tho technically, even if the girl isn't a princess, that doesn't preclude her being a rebel. But Catra refrains from asking, for now. She'll find out in due time.

Instead, she just glares and continues shoving millet into her mouth. ]

Mina leaves the spoon inside her mouth while she places her hands on her hips, while pouting. ] I barely even said a word! [ and she totally says that with the spoon still in her mouth

if Mina is a princess, she isn't very elegant, no. ]

[ ... well. Eating with her mouth full makes her maybe slightly more sympathetic to Catra. Just a sliver. ]

You were all, [ and she puts her folded hands on her cheek and puts on a mocking, exaggerated tone ] "OHHH, this is SO YUMMY!" about the food.

That's cuz I'm starving! [ Mina is ready to put more food in her mouth ] I haven't eaten anything in ages, this is the best right now.

[ Mina shrugs and eats some more eagerly ] Who are you?

[plentystrong]

[ Catra shrugs. They're going to learn her name sooner or later, and refusing might rouse suspicion. ]

Name's Catra.

[ aha, introductions!!

Mina quickly moves closer to Catra, still holding the bowl in her hands and the spoon in her mouth ] Nice to meet'cha!

I'm from Earth, where are you from?

[plentystrong]

[ Catra narrows her eyes at the pink girl. "Earth". She's never heard of it. So it's safe to say this girl has probably never heard of Etheria.

Catra's gonna lie anyway. She gives a noncommittal shrug. ]

Eternia.

[ a pause ]

never heard of it. [ Mina shrugs and takes another spoonful of her food ] Is it like this place? With like- zombies and all?

[plentystrong]

[ Catra pauses as she takes another bite of her food. ]

Not zombies. Though some people make you wonder sometimes.

[pinkxeno]

Wonder? Ohh tell me, tell me- [ she is curious! Mina never heard of other worlds, just boring old Earth. To her, catra is technically an alien ]

[plentystrong]

[ Catra blinks a few times. That was an offhand command about Hordak and Shadow Weaver, and Catra really doesn't feel like explaining them. So she shrugs it off. ]

Eh. You wouldn't get it.

[pinkxeno]

Not if you don't tell me about it. [ mina tilts her head ]

It's the first time I hear about other worlds, I'm curious!

[plentystrong]

[ Oh no. A curious pink fluff. Catra scoffs. ]

Whatever, it's boring anyway. Just some people I know and really wish I didn't.

[pinkxeno]

[ she pouts a little, but only for a second or two. ]

Well, is this place better than that place? [ it's not, is it catra? ]

[plentystrong]

[ Catra pauses as she chews, then dryly replies: ]

Absolutely not.

So I guess boring is best. [ mina grins and shoves some food down her mouth yet again ]

Not really. Everywhere pretty much sucks the same. But at least at home I was someone. Finally! Ugh.
