[It is indeed always a good time for a hug, and Caitlyn returns the Doctor's enthusiastically.]

I'm doing alright, yes. And you?

[She has so much to tell him, so many important developments to discuss, but the first and most important thing is making certain that he hasn't fallen victim to any of the myriad dangers of Alem.]

[ He's relieved to see her alive and well, and equally glad for the hug, just to further reassure himself that she's safe. He just needs her to stay that way. ]

I'm always okay, promise. Though I did not fill in the little bubble on the survey form to pick this place as our next destination. For the record.

[ Not to make light of what they've gone through, but it is his way, in an attempt to comfort, to try and ease and uplift her spirits even if only briefly. ]

I don't think any of us did. [She gives him a rueful smile before launching into what she's particularly excited to talk about: her investigation.

And she has quite a lot to share.]

I've been working to catch the killer who's been on the loose here in the Wards. Five men have been murdered, each with no apparent cause of death and a white string tied around his wrist. And now you've heard of the sixth victim? [Clearly, since he's also here wearing embalmer's clothes.] Some here say that the white string is something that sirens wrap around the wrists of their intended.

[She continues eagerly, barely taking a breath as she flips through her notebook, showing him all the notes she's taken on the murders.]

There are also stories of a woman who Prince Deimar may have courting, who mysteriously disappeared. Several people here have told me that I resemble her, and a woman named Emilia also apparently resembles her. Last night Emilia and I were both taken by a group of guards down to one of the caves, the one with the creature living in the lake, and forced to stand in the water, as though they were expecting something to happen. Was this mysterious woman a siren, I wonder? Did the guards believe that either she or I could be this mysterious woman, and that the creature would react to us? Or perhaps that the water would have some effect on us?

Regardless of the intended outcome, I believe what happened to Emilia and I is connected to the string of murders.
