First, because her mother raised a polite girl, she holds her hand out to shake his. Introductions, it's been a while.] Hermione Granger. I've been with the travelling group for a while now.
[So you can ask questions.]

A pleasure to meet you, and I have perhaps far too many questions than you have time to answer. But let's start with the main one– [ He's making sure to keep a low voice for this. ] Do we know what's in the House of Ravens? I'm a little unclear on the point of this mission?

To answer your question, though, it's been...ah, maybe over half a year now? I've counted the days, I think nearly close to eight months. [She pulls a little face.] We haven't been in Ke-Waihu for all that long, but the curse was starting to be painful so. Desperate times call for [badges and W.A.P.] desperate measures.

Pardon his mental French, but that's a lot longer than he'd been planning on staying. It's actually a rain drop of time, considering the length of his lifespan, but not so much for the mortals waiting back home for him. Definitely not for Alec... –on top of the fact that they'd already been separated for months from one another due to his own impromptu trip to Edom.
He frowns a little deeply. ]
Have you returned to Earth at all in those eight months? Or has it been eight straight months of dimensional hopping and all– [ He gestures vaguely to the robed figures around them. ] these fun little adventures?
