Eleven at last came to on a cold, stone floor. He shivered and promptly turned over, levering himself up on his hands as he breathed out a chilly exhale.

They're trapped in their memories, he knew, as his eyes met the aptly-named Sleepers. Every night they dream.

And those memories haunted his mind's eye still, even after his struggle to escape the sleep that had held him captive. He didn't know what they meant, but as he caught sight of the other two that had come in with him at Zenobius' instruction, he moved to check on the woman closest to him.

Eleven reached to touch her shoulder.

"Hey. Are you awake..?"

Not more than a day had gone by since the three of them reached an agreement that it was better off to give the Sleepers what they so desperately wanted. Peace. A chance to finally rest without the torture they endured every moment they were asleep. As far as Yennefer was concerned, she helped carry that out for them. But it didn't mean she wasn't troubled by all of it.

For several hours after it was done, she let it all replay in her head. No, she wasn't a killer, though she would kill if the reason for it was justified. Everyone had their own moral code that they lived by and as selfish as she could be, the sorceress knew when the best interest wasn't always her own.

When she found Eleven, she remembers how troubled he was with it all and while Yennefer had planned to check in with him, her plan was to do in a day or two. Seeing him out while she was walking had her deciding to do it sooner rather than later.

"May I join you?" she asks, slowing to a stop nearby. Her expression is soft and concerned as she looks him over. "How are you doing?"
