He gives a shrug. "I can't help much with that."
Though he remembers fondly when Archeval had looked at him and named the knife he'd forged for him in a near echo of his title.
"But I'm glad to see that it appears to suit you."

Honestly, out of the three of those, Son of Smash isn't his worst work -- it's definitely a contender, if nothing else. The fact that he continues, well, if it isn't clear on its own that that's largely for comedic effect, the very deliberate pause that follows might help. He caps off the whole routine with a shrug.
"Eh, I'll figure it out." A beat. "Thanks, dude." And another. "I owe you a favor, right?"

"Don't worry about it overmuch. I'm sure it'll sort itself out in time."

"But anyway, uh," he continues after a beat, willing to let it go and move on to something far more important. Namely, "You wanna go somewhere and get off the street?" So, you know, he doesn't have to worry about the smoke and all.

He was staying at the palace as part of Team Macaluso. Unfortunately, he's been sort of homeless, since all of his people were driven from it. Things might be different now, now that Bonaccorso has been dethroned and everything's slowly starting to go back to normal, but -- well, he wasn't kidding when he suggested they 'sneak into' the palace.
He shrugs a little, almost helplessly, that in mind.
