So a Jedi and a witch walk into a tea party...
WHO: Hermione Granger & Anakin Skywalker
WHEN: October 8th
WHERE: Super secret meeting
WHAT: Spying on a fancy lady
WARNINGS: idk gross depictions of undead? shenanigans?
[ The hatred of his cover has gone from a seething boil and eased to something more akin to irritation. He has opinions about sand. At least it doesn't include being stuck somewhere on a sand planet. Honestly, it astounded him that people were interested in buying it. With actual money. He has no idea why they're buying his quick talking, because to him, the idea of sand being healing in any way is absurd. Being able to sense people's emotions through the Force has certainly come in handy.
Far be it for him not to take advantage of the fact that someone would rather buy a jar of sand with some dye in it than go to an actual healer.
He wasn't actually expecting to get more supplies, but he's not going to ignore a summons when he's so new to all of this. Better for him to blend in and be able to look around a bit more. When he gets to the courier halls, he spots Hermione and offers her a wave. ]
Good to see you under less disgusting circumstances. [ Because the undead are definitely that. ]

Yes - next time, do that. [It does look like their supplies are being brought out, however, and in that case they shouldn't dawdle. Everything about this city is creepy, and Hermione hates having to play the part assigned to her. It might be that they're not even supposed to speak to each other, since they're "serving" different factions, but she'll take it as her very own little rebellion when she hooks her arm around Anakin's and proceeds towards the desk.]
Well, for what it's worth, it has been nice to see you again. I've sort of disappeared after the whole... [Cage. Escape. Zombies. Dragon.] Party.
[Distracted, she picks up her piles of cloth, and almost doesn't notice the note on top. And then does notice it.] Excuse me.

I'll make a note of it. [ They can't really expect different factions not to interact with one another. That's certainly not how politics works. He's witnessed enough nonsense Padmé had to deal with on the regular to know that she still had to work with other senators she didn't care for. Or even outright opposed. This doesn't seem any different.
He matches her stride and releases her arm once they're in front of their respective shipments. ]
It's nice to see you, too. Things got kind of heated shortly after. [ Meaning his face got set on fire, but it's fine. Fox even came by and healed it after chewing him out and now there's not even a scar to show for it. Who knew Slick had such a support group here. Not that he cares, he can do what he wants.
Anakin checks over the box of sand and his eye catches the edge of a note. Curious, he slides it out. ]
Well.. this doesn't seem like a trap at all. [ He looks over to Hermione, flashing the note briefly. ]

Once everything is picked up and the Taravastian (what else could she call them?) is making their way back to the warehouse door, Hermione takes her wand out and casts a series of quick spells. One to make her load light and easy to carry, one to shrink and fit it inside her bag, and one - thank you, Lily, for reminding her that she's a witch - to muffle their conversation to outsiders.]
Ah, so - we can talk, though it might not last forever, these have a habit of fading unpredictably here. We got the same note - an assignment from above, it looks like?

I don't know what you just did, but that was absolutely wizard.
[ Looking a little embarrassed, he shakes his head and gets back to the topic. ]
Assignment from above for different benefactors?

There is a slight smile.] I prefer witch, but it was - magic. Told you I can get out of trouble myself.
[But yes, back to topic.] It feels like maybe one of those situations in which the end result isn't to spy for our separate families, but for the group of people that are out of place here?
