Catra and Rachel will provide muscle back-up. • Having heard word of Mingyu's request of a map to Haltham, the Merchant obliges Karsa to send along aura quartz pieces for the operation participants. These will give them access to an exclusive and fully private communication platform throughout the day of the heist. Use the channel for quickie communication between heist participants here. The channel is open to heist participants who are not physically in the bank. • Karsa's only message: If you must do it, do it well — Karsa. • The players of heistin' homies can OOCly vote on the loot options. [It's almost a shame that Xingchen had somehow managed to finish his self-imposed chores earlier than usual, leaving him taskless, but too early to turn in. However, Mingyu has solved that problem and he welcomes the opportunity to spend time with his fellow refugee, even if he doesn't necessarily like being led around by the arm. The markets are always pretty busy, though, and Xingchen has gotten turned around and knocked about before. So he accepts it, following where Mingyu leads.

It's nice to have company when he visits this place, even if all he gets out of it is conversation and not always new supplies. They're all stuck together; the least they can do is form some bonds.]

Oh, no, no, I'm fine. My Core keeps me warm enough. We needn't spend money on things we don't need.

[Food is more important, even if he's been fasting so as to save money for those who do need to eat regularly.

Isn't that handy, [ Mingyu laughs, tugging Xingchen closer and out of the way of some oncoming carriage. Look, he's perfectly aware you're built like a linebacker under these robes and could hand his ass to him as a cultivator but it's all about optics. People who remember Mingyu being here are going to remember that he was here helping along a blind man, and that glaring fact will make it less likely for them to retain other facts about what he was doing. ]

[But he goes quiet for a moment, thinking. He isn't in dire need of food, not when he's started fasting to save their funds for the others who do need to eat. His belongings have been returned to him, thankfully, so he does not feel vulnerable with his sword and whisk back in his possession. After living in squalor for the past couple years, Xingchen really can do without most things.

That gentle statement at the end catches Mingyu off guard and he nearly trips on his own feet, eyes going briefly wide.
