• It's go time for the world's shoddiest heist! • Resources: bank map + general description of the bank, security and curse bustle. • The full recap of IC plans is here, but to sum up: Mingyu and Winnie will procure the map from Haltham's connections. Wei Wuxian's paper man magic will confirm the findings and supply reconnaissance for the curse password on the day. Su Xunxian and Beitang Moran will distract security. Five and Mina will teleport into the vaults and loot. Catra and Rachel will provide muscle back-up. • Having heard word of Mingyu's request of a map to Haltham, the Merchant obliges Karsa to send along aura quartz pieces for the operation participants. These will give them access to an exclusive and fully private communication platform throughout the day of the heist. Use the channel for quickie communication between heist participants here. The channel is open to heist participants who are not physically in the bank. • Karsa's only message: If you must do it, do it well — Karsa. • The players of heistin' homies can OOCly vote on the loot options. The grand reveal of what these items are worth, do or amount to will take place later. • En... joy wrecking a local economy? Hooligans.

[ Catra isn't surprised by his presence, having already heard and smelled him. Neither is she surprised by his admonishment. She is surprised by his assertion that the child in front of her is an important part of the plan. She gesticulates toward Five and sputters: ]

The pipsqueak? How's he gonna help?

Why don't you have a seat and let him explain?

[Moran is going to do just that.]

[ The meeting was arranged mostly by word of mouth, and not by Five's, so he didn't really know who might be coming through that door. When he hears Catra he can't match her surprise, but he can take a moment to curse his bad luck. First impressions are a bitch.

But it's fine. He doesn't need the rest of them to do much. Just cooperate. Moran gives him the moment he needs to turn towards her, all business except for that strained smile. ]

Good to see you again. [ Really. He glances to Moran with a little appreciative nod. ] I'm here because I offered. And because I'm the only one of us who can get in and out without getting noticed.

So long as you can follow instructions.

[ He'll just wait for her to take a seat. ]

[ She crosses her arms. ]

Follow instructions. From you.

[ After staring incredulously, she throws her head back and laughs loudly, slapping a hand to her forehead. ]

That's hilarious! You seriously think you can tell me anything?

[ She bends forward slightly, hands on her hips, meeting Five's eyes. Her tail swishes back and forth, signalling alertness. ]

What experience do you even have with things like this?

[ He gives her a patently exasperated look, half expecting to get laughed at but not quite that hard. After giving her time to get it out of her system, he simply takes a step forward and teleports to the opposite side of the table, then gestures as if that says enough. Surprise.

Because obviously he's going to have to give demonstrations before anyone will want to listen. ]

Like I said. [ He has plenty of experience telling people what to do. ] I'm doing the heavy lifting here. All I ask is a little backup to make sure we don't have any complications.

[ Well. It's not like Catra didn't suspect there was a little more than meets the eye to the kid. Still, she blinks, somewhat surprised. ]

Ohhh, you teleport.

What's your plan, though? You got one?

[somebadnews]

[ As much as he likes keeping that in his back pocket, he's too impatient not to just cut to the chase. Now that she's actually asking, he takes a breath and nods. ]

Three teams. One to be our eyes inside, one to stay outside in a nearby location, and me. I go into the vault and take what we need, teleport back and forth to the outside where someone can guard it, and if there's any trouble... we deal with it.

[ Not mentioning the amount of energy that's going to take out of him, but he doesn't care. This is happening. -- He looks to Moran, since he's already discussed this with him. At least one of them seemed completely on board.

There are more details. Some recon that would make the whole thing easier on him, but that part won't concern the muscle. Which is what he's already deciding she is. ]

[ There are coincidences everywhere, because Catra happens to know a person versed in teleportation whose power has its limits. Accodingly, she raises an eyebrow. ]

And you won't run out of juice in the middle of it?

[somebadnews]

[ No one else has asked him that, and he frowns in response. Which may be telling in itself. ]

I'll be fine. [ He'll just have to rest beforehand. And if he ends up having to take out some guards, it won't be the first time. They're inconsequential.

He shrugs, offering no further elaboration. ]

Anyway. You'd be part of the team on the outside. That's probably easiest for you, right?

[ Ignoring the instructions, Catra stalks up to him. ]

And you're sure of that? According to this plan of yours, this whole thing stands and falls with you.

Also, you don't happen to be planning to make off with the coin all by yourself, do you?

[somebadnews]

[ Narrowing his eyes when she gets in his space. The lack of trust is mutual, but he's at least confident in his own abilities. ]

I'm sure. [ He holds in his temper, but he's still a little more forceful when he continues -- ] What choice do you have? They're looking for us. The sooner we get what we need, the sooner we can move on. We don't have time to come up with other options.

[ Or maybe he's just a control freak. Whatever. ]

I can't carry it all at once, and you could just as easily run off with it when I go back inside. Believe me, if I didn't need you, I wouldn't be asking.

[ So Catra is a contrarian at best, but she's also enough of a strategic thinker to recognize that Five is right: this is their best plan. On top of that, the fact that he just admitted he needs her does appease her a bit; she's already recognized that he is far more powerful than an ordinary child, and admitting this weakness to her means he really is in a vulnerable position. That's good for her. Means she's got some cards in her hand.

She straightens up, leans back on her heels a little, and musters him. ]

Alright then. Leave it to me; no one's laying a hand on that cash.

[ She's more reasonable than he anticipated, and he straightens back up when she relents. It's hard to argue with him given the facts, and he appreciates not having to push through any moral objections. He's already had to make promises that he's not feeling terribly obligated to stick to, so he'd prefer not wasting time addressing them.

And it really is a simple plan. ]

Good. [ He thinks on it a moment, then as he looks at her, he amends: ] At least try not to draw attention to yourself.

[Moran just watches the discussion unfold, letting the whole thing follow its course to its natural conclusion. Of all the things he thought he'd never have to do again, half-parenting younger people is certainly one.]

I'll lead the team inside for distraction and keeping an eye on the situation. We need to make this quick an efficient. I would say thirty minutes as an absolute maximum.
