Regulus cocked a brow at the greeting. But it was halfhearted sass. A person shouldn't have to deal with the undead in both lifetimes.
"You didn't," Regulus said, turning with a sigh to look at the undead coming towards them.
He raised his wand and aimed a simple curse to lock the legs of the first lumbering undead. That one promptly fell. There was no joy in the way Regulus cast the spell. But then he cursed the next three in a row trying to get over the first one and thus starting a dam of undead of sorts. He let that fester for a moment.
"I was just out for a stroll and I came upon you." He checked the slow-building clog. Still, he took no action. "Everywhere I go there are these bloody arseholes."
He tipped his chin to the side and gave the tangle another moment to get bigger, and when he was finally satisfied at the size of the bundle of undead, he raised his wand and sent that first curse he'd used before hurtling down the corridor at the undead. The whole pile of undead burst into dust.
"You look like you're having fun." He pointedly looked at the hacked-off limbs and chunks of torsos.
