It was hard to hold any part of the farm for very long, but Lily was doing her best to keep at least one of the routes to the infirmary clear, aware that others from the group had positioned themselves in different parts of the house and were hopefully doing the same. Not wanting to risk wasting energy on things that weren't directly combatting the undead Lily had been sparing with casting too many wards as a precaution. They were meant more to repel dark magic, and while the undead initially bounced back when charging directly at it, the ward broke quickly when faced with much resistance.
They had bought her time when she needed them to though, and she needed it then having ducked around a corner in one of the more sheltered, forest-facing parts of the farm. In one of the windowless bedrooms, Lily was working on patching up a cut on her arm received by one of the undead using one of the basic first aid charms she had learned in school. She had cast a ward on the doorway in the hopes that anything that tried to come in would bounce off long enough for her to prepare herself to attack.
When what came through the door wasn't affected by the wards it was somehow a greater surprise to Lily who dropped her arm and raised her wand, leaping back in surprise as she prepared herself to hex the offender. His height was the first thing to give her pause, and as she dropped her wand she squinted at Five.
"Are you alright?" It seemed to be the first question she asked anyone she came across that night, no point in stopping now.
