Wrath waits for her agreement. He can sense the worry within her, and he understands it. They are more vulnerable in this world. It affects them and affects their powers, and Emilia is still becoming accustomed to using her own again, to using it while having her mortal heart. He would far prefer to stop her bleeding first (his own heart bleeds when he can smell her blood), but they have a job to do. His dark gaze rests on her face when she does agree (and there's a flash of gold there within his gaze), and he sees that beautiful hot mote of fire take shape within her hand.

She will show this creature why Hell is so deeply associated with fire - long before the devil stabbed and shoved his way on to its throne.

He disappears again and reappears nearer to the creature. The creature has stopped its attempts to burrow further into the dirt, and instead it is attempting to lash out at the vines that have held it. By lashing out, it only seems to dig those thorns in tighter though they're no longer attached to his wife.

Wrath picks them up instead to draw its attention to him instead, dodging its attacks as it cuts easily through the vines, and he uses his dagger to parry what attacks he can. She'll know that when he uses his dagger - that's the sign, that means he is close enough and has drawn its attention enough for her to strike.

He'll be ready to move out of the way of her inferno.
