When Wrath refers to mortals not being made for war as he was, he refers to the fact that they are born, they are raised, they have the choice to be defiant. Wrath was created for the purpose of being the General of War, following orders without question. It is the reason he became a demon to begin with - for that freedom, for the enjoyment of defiance that is not always automatically afforded to creatures who are made and not born.

As they move into position, Wrath remains silent. The shadows follow him, keeping him in the dark, and the light of his wings has fully been extinguished for now. They're simply black, pressed to his back as he grips the dagger.

The distraction does draw the creatures attention elsewhere, and Wrath uses the opportunity to strike. The shadows surround him, and he flies above its limbs and weapons, diving his dagger into one side of the creature. It lets out a horrendous sound and flails. The stinger aims for him, but Wrath has teleported again before it can strike.

It strikes near itself instead. Venom drips off the tip of it and sizzles a bit as it lands on the ground.
