There's the slightest of smirks from Wrath at the hissed response. Mortals are predictable in some ways. Few have been built to be soldiers, built for war as he was, as were the many he commanded when he was the General of War - a long time ago when the wars were not his own. Better to reign in Hell after all. Despite Wrath's amusement at Benedict's response, he does know he can rely on the man (and his companion's) efficiency in battle regardless of what they may encounter. That's high praise from a demon of war like him: to have that reliability in combat.
As they grow closer to the beast, Wrath allows his wings to dim so as not to draw attention before it is necessary. As they start to round one corner, they'll see it - the skittering of many legs with talons upon the tunnel floor, the strange hybrid creature that appears to be part scorpion and part human. Several of its limbs carry weapon of its own, and then behind there's the swing of the stinger at its back. Venom drips from the tip of it.
He lifts a hand to indicate the direction he is going to go in - to the right of the creature, believing at least Benedict knows the importance of being on opposite sides of it. It will be forced to divide its attention to one side or the other.
