{ knock knock: bazaar memories

a long and lingering sleep, the weary crave.
[ While wandering the bazaar, her pale form cloaked in dark dress, Vanessa will happen upon some spirits in upset who have so far managed to evade the chains of slavery, but remain vulnerable with so little to recall.

It's against her wiser judgement that she stops to help, and she can help. Nothing is easy, but some memories they seek are only hidden, not stolen, and Amunet thrives in the Hidden. So they find a spot out of the way where they can sit, and after several minutes of what looks like Vanessa simply staring at them, the spirits are pulled from their trance with a few more memories returned and tearful gratitude plenty vocal.

Quietly, Vanessa is quick to move on once through. She has no desire to be so perceived.

Unfortunately(?), someone from their traveling party is near enough to perceive the exchange, and she is still within her senses enough to acknowledge others (usually). Her clairvoyant gifts aren't often something so openly displayed, but there isn't much to say about them, by her opinion. ]

We must practice caution. It seems impossible to keep track of one's memories in this city.
