Nami had gone into that room by her lonesome, would freeing himself seal the door shut again? What if something in there happened? Nami can fight but should a terrible thing happen then Luffy would never forgive himself. The rest of the crew would never forgive him either and Luffy strains his ears, trying to listen for anything out of the ordinary over the sounds of his own short breaths and racing pulse.
