Luffy doesn't need the voice of a grandparent in his head to point out the glaringly obvious and for one of the few times in his life he wishes he were oblivious, unaware of anything that's going on rather than the complicated sensation of concern and worry. There's only one thing left to try and Luffy takes a deep breath before turning, smile wan but present. This is his duty as captain and the promise he's made to himself to never hurt his crew.)
