There wasn't much time for the detective to question his companion as the doppleganger grew tired of standing around waiting for the living beings in the room to act. Benedict saw it coming and immediately raised his arm to defend, the bayonet in his hand immediately reflected in his doppleganger's hand as well. Their blades clashed as they met.]
