For reasons of my not dying under the weight of this info comment, we shall agree that not all orphans are successful in their nascent espionage endeavours. After a week, the savvy few can return to Wrathion with the following:

— many of the Senators feel the hour is right to forge ahead with conquest, now that Ephes finally possesses a worthwhile army
— some feel possessively jealous of said army, questioning whether Messalina can be trusted with it
— an increasingly larger contingent believe that proceeding with war would honour the Chained God, with whom they seem to be more and more devotedly aligned
— ...few Senators seem truly bothered by the fact that Messalina is an undead, demonic presence. They have heard of the troubles that ensnared and affect their sister-citadels west, but assume these regions were simply poorly guarded, inferior in their precautions, ill governed and altogether lesser than
— some, who retain better connections with foreign citadels, do bring up the possibility that the eye of the undead could turn and fall upon them, if they get involved in these matters
— a few speculate that, given time, Ephes could educate and grow out its own generals, with one mentioning Narula shows promise — only to find himself immediately hushed, under criticism that Narula is a feral animal and not to be trusted with the interests of sophisticated men
— it is generally felt that Caius Justus, while formally entrusted with leadership of the Senate, cannot be trusted to make this decision alone, as he has long not been 'clear headed.'

Feel free to handwave a set of some 10-12 names of Senators (none of which previously mentioned in the write-up) and their descriptions.

The roll on Mr. Strange in a separate comment below, for ease when the player inevitably goes over it!
