Quick question! On the location description post, passing mention was made of slaves (the Hand of Ephes being made of "conscripts, former slaves or career soldiers"). Does Ephes have a system of enslavement, and if so, is it similar to how the Romans did it (a combination of debt bondage, capturing foreigners, punishing criminals, with there deliberately being no way to visually tell who was a slave, because there was a fear that slaves might figure out how many of them there were in Roman cities)?
