Two of Taravast's four badly wounded districts, decimated by reasons unknown, have recovered. The healers' district is once more fully in use.

But good Macaluso has tired of isolation. He has sent out delegations of sorcerers to flaunt the skill of Taravast and, in exchange for their teachings of ability, to gain knowledge and good will from other kingdoms.
