"It is... complicated. By the time they were my age, they had achieved incredible things. But - much of that was out of necessity, a war that forced them to go beyond what should have been possible merely to survive.

"My generation has been protected from such war, and thus we might never slay a mythical creature while starved and wounded and exhausted. Most days, I know that failure to achieve similar feats means the world is already a safer place and no reflection of my skills or willpower.
