Alarmed by her sudden shift in personality (who is this paranoid, tetchy girl?) he sits beside her on the bench to accept the notebook and, under her attentive stare, starts reading.
It is ... almost nonsense, from his point of view, though clearly written from her personal experience. All these new lands, the people mentioned, mean nothing to him, yet clearly there has been two years worth of adventuring scribbled down. Is the reason the same as Hermione's failing memory? Is that what happens to people in this realm, they slowly start to lose their grip on reality? This is the second person he has met who has needed to write things down, and it's starting to become unnerving.
He closes the notebook once finished and hands it back.
