Last Wei Wuxian had seen Wen Ning, the man had claimed his own sense of self and turned toward embracing the life he had, however marked he was by the life he'd lived over the last near two decades. He deserved as much chance as anyone to make his own way, and his own family, with Sizhui knowing their relationship, and the cenotaph the two surviving Wen Clan descendants under construction if not completed... with Sizhui having been here, he doesn't know if that's had an effect, if they're all from the same world, if they're from parallel ones, and he doesn't know that he can find it in him to care at present.

What he does find, however, is he's momentarily considering if this is another trick this world is playing on him, and so for a moment, Wen Ning finds himself simply observed with slightly narrowed eyes. Not judgmental ones, but evaluating ones, in the seconds before Wei Wuxian's brows quirk upward and his smile returning to its easy pull upward on his lips.
