Maybe the young dragon in human form will be able to feel it then, the almost bursting energy emanating from him. It's almost blinding, suffocating in how much there is and yet there appears to be a tight lid on it, blocked by chains, most of it tucked away and unable to find an outlet.

It doesn't seem to be much of a problem, though, because Xie Lian, entirely forgetting he has a sword now, goes for his go-to when fighting demonic beasts and full out punches the closest one between the horns, and the beast sways and then crumbles down in less than a second.

Only then does Xie Lian remember his blade, and he's quick to use it to sever the beast's head.
