Kahl stays where he is, giving them space. He's no longer trying to look big, but he's not sure how children would react to him. He doesn't know much about them.

He sighs. It feels like the breath weighs a lot, watching the Doctor with the child. That one looks real sick.

"Mm. Kahl in one piece. This fight bad, but not worst." Alem's going to lose, unless something big happens. It's losing slow and painfully. But Kahl's seen what losing fast and awful looks like. This isn't it.
