Anduin has always been good at reading people. Reading situations. The question could only be a hypothetical. But there's something in the way she's asking it that reads otherwise to him. Understanding of course, from Wrathion, the fact that she and the Doctor are here from the same world herself.

He raises his eyes to meet her own, his light blue eyes soft and terribly knowing. There could only be one reason she would ask such a thing, after all.
