Clara thinks about his words and sighs in acknowledgment. Looking down at the water, she trails her fingers through it before looking at Anduin again.

"I'm glad you said it. I'm normally a pretty optimistic person, I'd say. I try to find the bright side to most everything." She went through a period of time when she forgot that, but the Doctor made her remember again.

"But when I first got here, I went down that rabbit hole and nothing was calm again. Until now, I mean. And there's something under the ice, there are ghosts. I'm letting myself take advantage while I can because I don't feel like it will last. I hope that's different from being negative in general, but I dunno for sure."

Clara's rambling and heaves out a breath. "Anyway. It's like you said. The past sort of sets a precedent. But I'll take enjoy seeing people smile again as long as I can."
