Knowing everyone's safe is important, even when you're not there. "Brothers have safe camp on Earth. Good place. Camp little, though. Outside need help."

But that would have to wait. "Kahl stay here. Make sure undead not steal Brothers. Smash undead, then go home." That was just what made sense to him. He didn't know how the undead had stolen him, and nobody in the Origin System had the tech to get here. If he went back home, and then more people got stolen? His brothers? He can't risk that.
