It should be quick and shouldn't disperse much, if he's got the elixir right, but he can't be too cautious. As he tests the elixir against one of the coal sickness samples, the Doctor watches under a microscope as it has the intended effect, relief flooding him now as he smiles.
Washing his hands, unmasking, pushing his goggles up, the Doctor's smile turns into a bright grin. "This, this...this, this is a beautiful day, oh a very, very good day! What we've been after, it's here now, we just need more of it, so much more. Oh, you were brilliant, too, absolutely brilliant, with the-" He makes a few uncoordinated arm and hand gestures in the air, trying (and failing) to properly mimic how effectively Wrath dispensed with the mechanical hounds. "And the...thing, all of the things, you did those things very well."
