Xie Lian gives a small apologetic smile as he finishes filling the cup - and only spills a little from another, rather forceful jab.

"I don't think it really matters what you answer. Just humor them for now, and have the tea."

The tea actually smells alright, and not poisonous. Xie Lian is quite sure that it won't do any harm at all.

"I think once you've had the tea, we can probably leave. And if they don't let us, I have some ways to make them."
