Honestly he should explain himself further, but he really doesn't feel all that well. His magic does not work against all ills -- the coal sickness itself being a prime example of that. But it does work against seasickness, and he's hoping that the same will be the case for whatever effects they are suffering here as well.
"Brace yourself," is the only warning he gives, before he calls forth the Light. It fills him from within and surrounds him with a brilliant glow that he channels down through his hand and out toward her in a burst of energy. Warm, hot even. Not unlike stepping out from the cool dark into the bright summer's sun, if that sun could also reach straight through to your very core. There and gone in a flash.
