[ It is a most important conversation, and she's shaking her head almost before he's finished, smiling. ]

Oh, shut up.

And no, I don't believe it. Maybe if you'd shown up to more of our dates. Do you ever read anything that isn't a cry for help? [ What better time to bicker with your husband than when both your lives are in probable jeopardy? More cautious than the Doctor, if only marginally, she keeps a wary eye on the skeleton's massive form. ] A party! What an excellent idea. We're fantastic at parties. [ But the Ancestor seems curiously unmoved, commentary, bickering, and all. ] I'm not sure Fred is impressed.

[ The floor tilts alarmingly, and she swallows against another wave of nausea. Crouching next to him, she presses her hand to his shoulder, partly as a reminder she's there and partly to help steady herself. ]

More wine than you could possibly drink.

[ She's always been good at selling a lie. But the feeling that's settled over her is worse now as she studies the Ancestor for any sign of reaction. Then she's walking forward. ]

Burnt out in a Library.

[ There's just enough time for her to realize what she's said, that she's stepped away from the Doctor, before she registers the giant hand coming toward her. At least now they know how to get a reaction. ]
