But though he doesn't know his companion very well at all, he believes in her entirely. He's also more than happy to go along with her suggestion as it gives him a chance to avoid hurting anyone while still doing what they came here to do. ]

Oh, very, very many times. [ Well, not exactly this precise scenario, but danger and chaos tend to accompany him wherever he goes, and he's good at getting out of tight and tricky situations. He tends to thrive on it, really. ]

I'm quite good in a tricky situation, you might say. Things go wrong, they call on me. Or, they have. Elsewhere in the universe. You do what you're good at it and I'll do what I'm good at: protecting, helping.
