Suppose he would see for himself how capable and much sturdier they were, if he were to ever get them on his ship. Until then, it's a pointless argument to have, and he's dealt with enough sexism over the past week to last him a good, long while. ]

I am aware of that. For what it's worth, I didn't come here with the intention of seeking refuge on your ship; not for me, and not for all the others.

[ It was a surprising offer that the Captain put forth himself, and one he's very keen to consider.

The following offer should perhaps be more expected, but Jim has to admit to some reluctance at first. ]
