( it'd be generous to call what she's floating on a raft, especially when she wakes and almost falls off the thing. after her brief startle, her hands grasping both sides of it, she keeps her movements slow and as still as possible.

Considering I woke up in the middle of the ocean I suppose asking where I am might not work. So what about planet, star system. Nearest continent?

( she has no idea who is even receiving this and it's a very bad idea but she's hoping that the locals are friendly or that somehow the enterprise is nearby and can pick this up. it's a big hope )

once on a boat she'll be happy to chat to anyone, ask questions about what they've done etc etc. which might mean she'll end up in pirate brig for some of her questions (oops?). but then she'll do helpful ship things to get in their good graces if she can. or be a bit of a bossy bee where she can get away with it.
