Viktor seems more surprised by the fact that people are telling him "no worries" than the actual intrusion--back home, he would most certainly need to apologize, which is why he usually keeps such outbursts to himself. The only reason he allowed himself the reaction in the first place is because he didn't think anyone was here, but he can't say he dislikes being offered a modicum of understanding.
