He hesitated for a second, awkwardly running a hand through his bangs, just for something to soothe his restlessness a little. He didn't generally ever have to introduce himself in such bald terms back home; the circumstances of where he'd come from were famous among Sith command, and still held over his head by some.

"But in the pursuit of... learning the craft. I found out a few years ago that Lord Kallig was my ancestor. I suppose the Kalligs were somebody once, but he was betrayed by another Sith Lord, one of the usual power plays. The man killed him and sold his family into slavery. And there we stayed."
