He's had mixed reactions to the word 'mutant' from people who aren't from his world. So far, he's yet to figure out how they're all related, or if some of them have an x-gene and they just aren't aware. It doesn't really matter, since they still land in the exact same situations mutants have been facing for decades.

"Only a few days in the village. I came from Taravast." He's not sure how much he needs to stick to his 'family' story, and honestly he can't completely remember what they decided to go with. Hopefully he won't ask. "We had a hell of a time getting here, but it wasn't this hostile before."

For that, he's genuinely sorry. True, he made several assumptions when he jumped in to help him, but he seems like a regular enough guy. It's not his fault that they all got hyped up after the foxes.

"Well, it was, but a different kind of hostile. Politics, you know?" He didn't think he'd miss it, but at least they weren't cursed there. "Did you come for the... festivities?"
