[ Marcos was prepared to distract her with his encounter with feral mermaids, but she sees right through the look he was giving her before he gets the chance. His brow furrows as she puts a hand on his arm and dismisses her injuries a little too quickly. Just because she can take a hit doesn't mean she deserved that, and who knows what they would have done if she hadn't fought back.
