[ lorna knows that caitlin has evolved from the woman she'd first known as the human mother of mutant children who'd been looking out for her kids and trying to keep everything as normal for them as possible. she hadn't witnessed most of that evolution since she'd joined the inner circle and taken her son with her, and it's both a surprise and not that she'd come this far since. there's a moment where lorna's unsure how caitlin's going to react upon seeing her, especially after she puts the thug who hits her down without a trace of hesitation, but then caitlin answers that by running up to her and hugging her tight.
