[It's meant to be a sombre affair, and honestly said, she doesn't know what prompted her to come join the hunt. She's not skilled with a physical weapon, and in hindsight of the fox spirits haunting this village, the inhabitants might not take all that nicely to a woman who can practice magic.

But - maybe she feels some sort of duty for it. She escaped a wedding (and death) to a fox spirit, on a lie. And in this place, it feels like everyone has something to atone for.
