[While Yun Yifeng is having his crisis, Xingchen is starting to go mildly crazy in this house. Not because of the layout or anything; he's adapting to a new dwelling as he always does. Rather, he hears things. Usually, he's glad for his better hearing to make up for his blindness, but the chewing in the walls is unnerving.
So he paces, giving himself something to focus on besides the awful sounds, except for when he finds a weak part of the floorboards. His foot crashes through it and he catches himself in time before any other part of his body can get injured.
Well. This is embarrassing. He'll have to fix this damage, of course - and that will give him a valid excuse to get out of the house! - but first, he should tell his other housemates of his little accident.
Which is how he finds himself approaching Yun Yifeng. And then being surprised by the slamming of the brush and the anger in the voice directed at him. Xingchen stands there, still and confused for a moment, then finally speaks up.]
