In the tales we heard, a great injustice was done to Anurr when he was alive. But we do not know exactly the manner of his death, or how he came back alive. The body he inhabits now was not his own originally, I think. He borrowed it, maybe to be able to roam more freely on the land. I do not know if this is the same for all of them.
