But he frowned at hearing what to him sounded like a half truth. Some of this certainly sounded as if it had planned, due to 'meeting at the docks' and now with hearing the Luminary say that he would stay with the captives.
But a conversation would delay the precious amount of moments they had left before the ship would go down. So the knight turned and cut his way through the opposition until a clear path could be made for others to safely be evacuated. Those that requested weapons he willingly gave, while sternly reminding them to look after the others who weren't bearing arms.
And of course he kept his eye on the Luminary because his safety was above all others.
