Well that's a sight he didn't expect when he turns around. It looks a lot like she ripped that guard's throat out with her teeth, which is both impressive and immediately revealing when she still manages a clever retort. At least they're not all looking to be rescued.

What he should be doing is conserve his energy for when he finds his siblings, but they never seem to make it easy.

He doesn't make any overt references to the possibility that she was just drinking blood, though he does glance back down at the body she dropped. He could probably get to the sword he has on him before she turned on him.
