1. Well, then. The rumoured necromancer will tell Allison that his people intend to keep the blood safely stashed and labelled for later use as security or leverage. It's worth keeping a weapon stored against anyone influent enough to warrant poisoning with the winter lily mist. Even if these newcomers never threaten the necromantic district, chances are they'll be involved in Taravast's tumultuous politics at some turn — at which point, the necromancers can sell the blood to the highest bidder for profit, arming the newcomers' enemies with the means to work a powerful curse against them. You might want to tell the group, Allison.

2. Diego's suit, while registered, isn't binding. He can always withdraw from the competition. Alternatively, he can make his... unique position known to Vannozza and sell her on the espionage advantages of him continuing to pretend he's one of Macaluso's true suitors. She's be able to arrange him alternative quarters unaffiliated with either herself or Macaluso, if so. It's down to Diego's player — but Diego'll have to ICly have that talk with Vannozza and be veeeeeeeeeery persuasive, if he goes with option #2.
